Paul Rapalee is a visual artist and independent filmmaker who uses non-verbal communication to tell his stories. Yes, his films have actors, sets, and locations, but he just tells his stories in avante garde, abstract ways. Some of his past themes have involved drug abuse, insomnia, hustling, and life and death, as well as tackling social issues such as racial, sexual, and moral decay.
